Oporto Monuments

From its buildings of medieval architecture and its historic centre, classified as World Heritage for Humanity Site since 1996, to its contemporary architecture, Porto is a city of great monumentality. Several historic eye catching buildings of religious and civil architecture can be fund, but the city is also a large open-air museum where visitors can admire the works of architects, such as José Marques da Silva, Arménio Losa, Cassiano Barbosa, Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura - the latter two, master and disciple, both of which winners of the Pritzker prize.
